UPS Shipping Status

Take note of any UPS® Air service and Ground service modifications status of the UPS Service Guarantee for shipments. The majority of UPS services continue with the same expected delivery timeframes our customers have come to expect. If UPS suspends their Service Guarantee, UPS remains committed to providing timely and reliable service.

Shipping Policy

USD Torero Store offers competitive shipping rates. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items en route.

Shipping speeds are effective from the date we ship your order, not from the day you place your order. Please allow 24 hours, Sunday through Thursday, for your order to be processed. We process orders during our business hours Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Next Day Air and 2-Day Air services typically ship the next business day after you place your order. Order arrival times vary based on time of year and your shipping choice. Your order will typically be processed in 1-2 days by our shipping department, and then received within the days of your shipping service choice. UPS Ground service typically takes 1-5 business days to arrive. During January, August and December, processing and delivery time may take longer.

If you need your order delivered by a specific date, please specify the date needed in the Special Instructions box when you place your order. We will do our best to meet that date.

Please note:
  • We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, please use a street address.
  • We do ship textbooks and technology orders to currently enrolled USD students internationally.

    • International Orders: USD Student Textbooks and Technology ONLY

    We will provide a quoted international shipping price for shipping textbooks and technology orders for currently enrolled University of San Diego students only.

    International Shipping Terms and Conditions:

    1. Any order shipped outside the United States may be subject to customs, duties, or import fees. USD Torero Store does not pre-clear customs and is unable to calculate or determine these fees beforehand.
    2. All customs/VAT and import fees must be paid by the recipient if a fee is applied to the order by the importing country, and cannot be paid for in advance.
    3. Customs, duties, and taxes vary widely from country to country, so please check with your local customs agency and/or postal service for details on estimated costs.
    4. Orders held up and impounded by your country’s customs will not be refunded.


    Return Policy

    All merchandise returned for any reason must be in original condition and must include a valid web order receipt.

    APPAREL AND GENERAL MERCHANDISE RETURNS:
    • Items must be returned for full price within 30 days of purchase, if accompanied by a sales receipt and in salable condition.
    TEXTBOOK RETURNS:
    • Return guidelines are dependent upon when the purchase was made. Please check our textbooks page for more information.
    • New textbooks must be in original, pristine condition, unopened, unmarked, not have any bent or torn pages, marks, writing, highlighting or other damage.
    • Shrink-wrapped books or packages are not returnable if opened.
    • Textbooks with software cannot be returned if software is opened.
    • No returns are accepted for custom course packets.
    TECHNOLOGY RETURNS:
    • We are unable to accept returns on computers.
    • Items may be returned within 30 days only if the merchandise is unopened or defective upon opening.
    • To be eligible for a full refund, products must be in new condition and must be returned with all pieces originally received, as well as the original box.
    • Product that is not defective must be returned unopened. (Do not remove shrink wrap from a product that is to be returned.)
    • Unopened items with an original receipt may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
    CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT RETURNS:
    • Non-returnable items include clothing with monograms, custom published materials (such as course readers or syllabi), and artwork which is printed, matted or framed based on your order.

    How to return your items:

    • Package your items securely so that nothing is damaged or lost while in transit.
    • A copy of your shipping confirmation email or order details should be sent with your return. If you do not have these, please include a note with your name, address, and order number. Refunds may be delayed if the return cannot be identified.
    • Return shipping is at your expense unless USD Torero Store has made an error with your order. It is suggested to use a traceable, insured method of shipping when returning your item(s) as we are not liable for lost or damaged packages. Retain your tracking information and shipping receipt until your refund is issued. Ground or an equivalent level of shipping is sufficient.
